Our Programs - Softball:

         

Softball is a sport that most of us grew up playing.  It's a sport that takes away the worries of the world because we are going back into time when our lives were less complicated.

Summertime....Softball....they go together like peas and carrots!  So what better way to pass the summer evenings than playing softball.  Last year we sponsored one team which consisted of amputees, traumantic brain injuries and the guys who were shot up and blown up but did not lose a limb.  It was a fun season and so this year we decided to sponsor a league which consists of six teams and so far we have ninety two players signed up.  Most of them have been wounded in one way or another or have served in Iraq or Afghanistan. 

The teams have chosen the name of their team and the color of the T-Shirts.  They're very excited about competing against each other and are looking forward to the season.  So...Take me out to the ball game...
